The plain-language agreement between you and Loam.
About these terms
These terms describe how you and Loam Fitness (“Loam,” “we,” “us”) agree to use the Loam training calendar service. They apply to your use of the Loam website, web app, mobile apps, and authorized integrations. By using Loam you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information associated with your Loam account and for the activity that occurs under it. You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction (and in any case at least 16).
Acceptable use
Use Loamfor your personal training, coaching, and analytics purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users’ data, scrape the service, or use Loam to do anything illegal or anything that violates the terms of a service you have connected to Loam.
Connected services
When you connect a third-party service (such as Suunto, Garmin, Coros, Apple Health, or Health Connect), you authorize Loamto access your data on that service on your behalf, subject to the permissions you grant. Your relationship with each third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms; we are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or independent data practices.
Your data is yours
You retain ownership of the training data you upload, log, or import into Loam. You may export all of your data and delete your account at any time, from inside Loam. We will not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions & billing
Plans and prices. Loam is offered as a paid subscription in two plans: $6.99 per month or $59.99 per year, in U.S. dollars. Both plans unlock the same full feature set and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Prices are shown before tax; where tax applies, it is calculated and added at checkout.
Free trial. New subscribers start with a 14-day free trial. We collect a payment method when the trial begins, but you are not charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts automatically to a paid plan at the end of day 14 and your payment method is charged. One free trial is available per person.
Cancellation.You can cancel at any time, and your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. Subscriptions purchased on the web (through Stripe) are canceled from the in-app billing portal; subscriptions purchased through the App Store are canceled in your iOS Settings, under your Apple account’s subscriptions.
Refunds.You can cancel any time. Your subscription remains active through the end of the period you’ve paid for. We don’t issue refunds for the unused portion of a paid period. For purchases made through the App Store, refund requests go to Apple and are decided by Apple under Apple’s policies.
If your subscription lapses. If your subscription ends or a payment cannot be collected, your account becomes read-only. You keep the right to view your training history, export all of your data, and delete your account at any time. You can start a new subscription whenever you like to restore planning, import, and sync.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices from time to time. If we do, we will give you advance notice, and any new price applies only from your next renewal — never to a period you have already paid for.
Service availability
Loamis in active development and is provided “as is” and “as available.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves; where we do, we will give reasonable notice for changes that materially affect your use.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or expose Loam or its users to legal or security risk.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loam is provided without warranties of any kind, and Loam’s liability for any claim relating to the service is limited as permitted by applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as Loam evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify users through the app and our website. Changes take effect when we post the updated terms, and your continued use of Loam after that means you accept them.
